Hi everyone.

How are you all today?  Cant believe its a couple of days since I last posted.  Sorry for that but I have been busy in the craft room and time just seems to run away with me.

Thank everyone so much who left such kind comments on my Facebook pages, my google + pages and of course here on the blog over the last few weeks.  I am truly grateful.

So todays lovely card is a ladies' blouse card.

Its very similar to the shirt card, but has a scooped neckline instead of the collars.

Don't you just love this paper ...........

Yes, so do I.  Its such a pretty colour - Crisp Canteloupe - reminds me of ice cold melon to nibble on a summer's day.

I finished it off with the gorgeous lace and some of the retiring in colour decorations.

The inside was die cut using the labels dies and then stamped using the gorgeous Memorable Moments Stamp Set.

And don't forget we still have all these great offers this week

Have you ever wanted to join, but have been waiting for the right time?

Yes, then now is that time.  With our great Signing up offer

and finally theres only two weeks left of the retiring list, and this list is getting smaller and smaller by the day.  The retiring products are selling out fast and once they've gone thats it.

Etcetera DSP Sewing Box - Stampin UP! style of course

Morning ............  I still have 2 more Father's day cards to show you this week, and a 65th Birthday card

But first I thought you might like to see this.

A couple of weeks ago my lovely Sister In Law - Lisa asked if she could come and do some crafting.

It was decided that Saturday was the day and both my Mum and Lisa came to play.

We had a lovely day and it ended in a BBQ with my brother and the rest of Lisa's family.

(Its very confusing because we are both called Lisa!!)

Anyway my Mum finished off a memory book she was making and Lisa wanted to make a sewing tidy for her desk.

Here it is.  It is based on my Birthday Box and Book  but we needed to create more storage spaces

I cut the Coaster Board to size and Lisa decorated it.

It has two pull out trays at the top.  The back square one is going to be a pin cushion.  Do you like the decoupage Rose on the front.

When these are lifted out there is more storage space underneath

Finally we cut and decoupaged the bust onto the side of the box with the rose

I love being able to share my hobby with friends and family.  If you would like to have a crafty get together with your friends then why not contact me and we can arrange a crafty workshop in your home.

Modern Medley meets Look up to Father - Stampin UP fathers day

Hi everyone.

Yesterday I showed you the first of four makes for Fathers Day.

The one today is an 8 x 8 card.  To do this I used 2 pieces of A4 card stock and created a hinge.

To create this matts and layers were created with the Modern Medley designer series papers.

The centre of the top two layers was removed and a frame created using Framelits dies and stuck down with dimensionals to give it some lift.

The image of the tree was stamped onto a separate piece of card stock and fussy cut.

I then placed this in the centre of the frame with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped and then cut out.  I made the banner ends myself by snipping into the card stock in the centre and then from each side.

The inside of the card was matted and layered to match the outside.
